A Familiar Noble called Davis Nosferatus has collected the second highest bounty on the island today of 1500 gold after a duel against Lord Edward Anthony, both participants tried to overun each other in the exhilarating duel, yet after several blows to arm, torso and leg, Lord Edwards esquire had to surrender in his Lord's name when the Lord lost consciousness.
The duel was issued with the offer of serving the Lord if Sir Davis was to lose from him, if Davis would win he would get the bounty on Lord Edwards head and the glory with it.
The ordeal has caused some unrest in Nivemus highest circles, fearing for diplomatic consequences.
A duel is an agreement between both involved parties yet apparently Sir Davis broke the law by entering Westmoor, he has been fined for his actions.

The results are in from one of the largest tournament ever held on the East Continent!

Sponsored by Dobromir Menethil, King of Caligus, and held in Domus, the tournament had both a swordfighting and a jousting event, both with 3000 pieces of gold going to the winner and 500 to the runner-up.

The Swordfighting event was won by Lady Giselle Relak of Sirion, the Margravine of Krimml, with Lady Celine von Genf of Sirion, the Countess of Montijo, taking the second place.

The Jousting event was won by Sir Vessol Mithridates of Nivemus, the Count of Dale, with Sir Iratus Galvez of Armonía, the Count of Itor Boss, taking the second place.

Perdan declared war on Nivemus after having Obsidian Islands lowered OI relations with Nivemus to Peace. The many realms Diplomacy web tangles of alliances have to be resolve before any war can happen.

The war begins with Perdan army attacking Nivemus's Salta region by using OI land of Gadlock. Nivemus forseen the dangers and moves quickly to minimize the damage to its land. Sirion army moves in to do a cleanup and as a result, some of Perdan army not able to turn around in time and were defeated.

Undeterred, Perdan army moves to damage Nivemus's Oberndorf region after gathering in Gadlock region. Both Nivemus and Sirion army move to defend the region, Perdan again moves out in time but lost some men that lagged behind.

Perdan's elite army, the "Perdan's Murderous Wrath (PMW)" has successfully invaded Nivemus with a landing operation in Juazeiro, which was conducted in the enemy's back, as Nivemus and Sirion took position to defend in Oberndorf.

The Nivemus forces quickly went then north to fight off the invaders but were too hasty in their attack - as PMW set up a trap by faking a retreat and damaging the roads - and attacked only with half their force. Kronogos Neji with Nivemus' most powerful unit decided to stay in Oberndorf in the meantime.

After two battles in Juazeiro, PMW has defeated the entire superior Nivemus army - while having lost only 1/3 of its force - and celebrates the victorious start of the campaign.

In a massive battle, the largest battle in Battlemaster history, Westmoor, Armonia, and Perdan forces all attacked Oberndorf where Sirion and Nivemus forces lay in wait for them.

The battle that ensued after was a glorious one, with the defending Sirion and Nivemus forces having a heavy advantage from the outset. Several misaligned Niveman nobles broke the charge of the attacking forces, and from there, the Sirion forces and remaining Nivemus forces proceeded to pick apart the attackers until an overwhelming victory ensued.

While this is a stunning victory in the South of Nivemus for the Sirion and Nivemus forces, Perdan continues to have a force in the North, and the battles continue to be on Nivemus lands. Will the tides turn after this battle? Or is this just a sign of things to come, defending Nivemus and the Northern Confederation forces not being able to push into their Southern enemies lands? Time will tell. Soon, round 3 of this already very bloody war will begin...

Duke Lance Hagakure of Al Arab was struck down in duel today, by Mordred II Lefanis, Lord of Dayr and Treasurer of Eponllyn. Duke Lance, who'd betrayed Eponllyn to join Armonia, and later Caligus, in a bid to avoid justice, now lies in critical condition with the Arabian healers.

True to form, Caligus has betrayed its sworn ally of Perdan, demanding King Atanamir step down or they would attack while at the same time sending 10,000 CS of Caligan troops into Perdan territory in a sneak attack. Unfortunately for the Caligans, the sneak attack was not very sneaky and they were crushed. Perdan followed up by obliterating a 21,000 CS Caligan army in Winkamus.
