AFAIK, it will still respect your unit settings:
Murderous: attack anyone who isn't in your realm
Aggressive: attack those with war/neutral
normal: attack those at war
defensive: attack those at war
evasive: avoid fighting
Except that "war", "neutral", and such will no longer exist. The point of the new treaty system is to completely replace the old diplomacy system, unless the devs changed their minds or I misunderstood.
