I can say that the behavior Nosferatus describes was quite present in Thalmarkin, namely among the Lastfell clique. I don't mean this as an accusation of any kind, but the resemblance is quite striking, to be honest.
A Lord giving his knights 12 or more positive standing points (each) is just quite suspicious.
