Uh, I'm not sure why you re-invent the wheel - there are already tooltips with "also" when you hover over the intents and bases in spell creation. ;)

Only in Firefox.

doh? That plugin should be cross-plattform. :-(

Seems I have to transition to qtip, which I now use for another project.

(Note: I use chrome too, can't see the tool tips)

Currently, the following are the tool tips strings.

. Intent-

  • "also: damage, attack, kill, hurt">Harm
  • "also: defend, shield">Protect
  • "also: manipulate">Control
  • "also: repair">Heal
  • "also: view, hear, see">Perceive
  • "also: build, conjure, summon">Create
  • "also: mutate, grow, shrink, transmutate">Change
  • "also: push, pull, throw, transport">Move

. Base-

  • "also: heat, burning">Fire
  • "also: ice, cold">Water
  • "also: unlife, necromancy">Death
  • "also: life">Body
  • "also: spirit, illusions">Mind
  • "also: wind">Air
  • "also: nature">Earth

(er..I should have noticed it before..would have made more sense to research relative spells adhering to the tips)

-Edit-

Also I would like to confirm certain spell casting process (which I think I understood from the guidelines and others):-

related to spells affecting -

  • -only the caster, are to be role-played with effect by the caster himself; (low level spells, else GM)
  • -npc's, are to be role-played with effect by either another caster or a GM; (low - medium level spells, else GM)
  • -other casters, are to be role-played (for effect mechanism) only by a GM.

Spells could also have tag, mentioning the above points.

regarding the RPs -

Not really. As spells have exactly defined effects, the only thing you need to know is whether or not the target has any spell effects on it that might interfere. If not, the exact effect as described in the spell description will happen to it. There isn't much need for roleplaying.
