If the region is starving, your unit will starve, too.

Unless you have a caravan with food on you.

Gues this is punishment for burning food.

I thought if one person from your realm in the same region has a caravan with food, then all the troops from your realm will eat from it. I have a character in this situation (has the caravan with food), but only my troops are eating from it.

And this is how it works now. There was a request on having a feature like that added, dunno how it ended.

Combine this with equipment damage and you have a serios problem.

Then carry some food with you.

Quite troublesome.Am traveling on a very bad road through a starving region. I believe some ally looted it and now our troops pay the price.

If you have some healers, which you should, the effect isn't THAT bad if you don't stay in the region for too long.

Maybe you should go loot your ally, and see how they like starving. :D

Even with masses of healer Arcaea lost hundred of troops on our first march through the old OW lands to attack Arcachon. Perhaps it is a function of how many men are trying to share the non existent food?

How many regions were you travelling? And hundreds out of how many? And did they really all have enough healers?

How many healers are enough?

Who knows, but more is better! ;)

I'd say only one, however, is not enough unless you have a really small unit.
