Caravans and siege engines
« Topic Start: January 16, 2012, 01:08:16 PM »
Does anyone know which slows you down more: caravans or siege engines? And if you have both, do the slowing effects combine, or do you just move at the speed of the slower one?

Probably caravans--there's a hard limit of 12, and they at least double your travel times.

Well for traders, a regular noble can have but 2 caravans.

As a point of interest, I had a 50-man infantry unit. Bought two siege engines and travel times were increased, as expected. Bought a caravan and there was no difference at all to travel times. Interesting.

So one caravan is not slower than 2 siege engines.
