We've Monsters, we've Undead, how about a human based rogue unit?

In Middle Ages and since XVIII century, Europe was filled by organized bandits who control rurals regions sometime.

It'd be nice to see them in BM. They could be like a low trained, ranged 3, archer unit that can pop up in rurals (spawning more likely in loosely control regions) and instead of eating peasants, they can loot stealinjg gold.

This has been repeatedly requested, and repeatedly rejected.

Bandits exist already in BattleMaster; try traveling with a lot of money and no unit sometime, and you'll find out.

They're just not dumb enough to attack large groups of well-organized well-armed troops.

I would agree that having a ranged rogue would add something nice, doesn't need to be bandits.  Come up with some other fantasy character that would have ranged weapons.

It would be kind of interesting if random monster units occasionally had ranged weapons. Fantasy novels are full of orcs/goblins that use short bows, or thrown spears/javelins.

We don't have humanoid fantasy races in this game.

Sacha

Undead are sorta humanoid... but then again technically they're just humans.

disproving Tom, one post at a time.

Just joking, by the way.

Peasants. If you poke them enough.

Oh, and apparently there are "beastmen", whatever those are (Since you can get their blood), and wyverns (ok, no problem), and unicorns since you can get their horns (OMG unicorns!!! Yay! lol)

Pfft. Sirionites are just humans cosplaying as elves.

Just like how monsters are just normal wild animals. And of course, there are absolutely no humanoid daimons, no sir, forget anything you've heard about those human-like daimons, they definitely most certainly don't exist yo.

Like that page says:

The only elves that exist in BattleMaster are those that were grandfathered in before the Human-Only rule. A character created anywhere but Sirion - or created in Sirion but no longer residing there - is not exempt from this rule.

Gustav Kuriga

It's still a humanoid fantasy creature in BM... even if it is limited to one realm, it is limited to one very, very large realm.

And so far as that elves rule goes, it appears as though any character created first in Sirion, so long as he/she stays in Sirion, can be an elf. So I guess they magically become humans when declaring a separate political loyalty. lol, Elven race must be a dominant political party of Sirion or something.
