Leaving order as a priest

If I click "leave the order" for a religion while I am a priest class, what will happen? Will it tell me I can't while a priest, or will I automatically change classes?

I believe the answer is that you can't. I tried this a couple months back, and if I remember correctly had to change class first.

Silverfire is correct.  It will not allow you to do so.  You must change classes before you can leave a religion.
