Ok, but that's not comparable at all. The price of a helmet then should compare to the price of a military helmet today, and the price of a sword should be compared to the price of a gun. I am uncertain what you could compare the price of a B-2 bomber with considering how crazy that price is, but I bet you could compare the price of a B-52 with the price of,  let's say, a galleon.

I think you'll come to the conclusion that the price of a helmet (a cow) does not compare to the astronomical prices we pay for miltiary equipment today. A cow, while quite expensive because of intensive breed-perfection programs, just doesn't compare to the price of modern military equipment.
