Perhaps as family fame increases, the amount of gold needed decreases. There could still be a max of 3, but once your family gets 10 fame, the gold required for the three could have dropped to ~5000. Don't dwell on the numbers I provided.

Neither is cheaper to maintain a trainment center in your property.
I forgot the Family Fame and this could also be somenting that restrict the use of this feature. Would be good if you only cold be able to use this at fame 8 or 10. This will represente that now your family acquired enough contacts and influence to create the estructuure necessary to do this.
About give all your gold to your family, as already said, people that will do this, already do this. Also this investment is intended to be a long term investment. If we limitate to one investiment each 2 weeks, granting 1% per investment, you will need an entire real world year to fully train (25% bonus) a retainer in a specific area. Only who REALLY whant this will do this. If you want simply win a war or something like that youu will spend your gold in another way.
