As for having an estate and seeing the numbers. I can see the population...just not the max possible population.

Ah That might actually be on Testing only. Only the Lord might have it available on Stable. Once Stable gets the big update, Knights there should be able to see it as well :)

Masochist

Well I am Dwilight so that's testing...probably lords only?

*bump* this question got passed up because it was an edit...wasn't expecting such quick responses.

Whats the best way to see realm forces? I see people talking about how an army of xxxx CS is moving into this region or that region next turn (obviously scouting/knowledge required but I assume realms can see their own armies?

Huh, I'm on testing and I can see it. It should be under the Command page on the right side in the blue box 'important information'. I'm a Steward there though, but I don't think that matters. It might else *thinks*

There are a few ways to see forces. The Statistics Page under Information shows Realm Forces, but is a week old. Looking at Region Details can show you the strength of any troops in that region, but only works if you're in that region or the region is part of your Realm (You can't see if troops are travelling like this though). Otherwise you will need Scout Reports (Scout Reports are used a lot. They show if troops are travelling as well). Marshals can see the CS and status (Travelling etc.) of their own Army (Sponsors and Vice-Marshals might as well, not sure), and Generals can see the CS and status of each Army as well.

Those are the few main ways I can think off right now.

makes sense! I sadly do not fall into any of those criteria lol...thanks for all the help you are all much more helpful than most communities. I am a bit amazed!

I'm glad the forums, which are only about a year old, are helpful to you. Many players have never touched the forums.

Click on the region pages of each region of your realm will tell you information about that region including military presence. For regions not in your realm, you will need scout reports. Marshals also have a nice table that tells them how much CS is in their army and what regions they are in. Finally in statistics you can see a nice graph of all military powers on the continent but delayed by 1 week.

Masochist

Yeah not been in a week so that stuff is still unavailable to me unfortunately.

Penchant

Statistics should be avaible to you, its that the information is outdated by 1 week. To go to statistics, click information then statistics on that page, for military click realm and and pick the military option once on the page.

Ohhhh...see I was looking elswhere...thats much better.

Anyone know how many people one bushel of food feeds? I read it was 500 per bushel but my calculations show that to be WAY too high...were that the case Barca could feed almost 1 million people.

One bushel feeds 500 peasants one day.
The above is accurate 25% of the time, truthful 50% of the time, and facetious 100% of the time.

It used to. I think the food consumption ratio changed recently, did it not?

Oh?  I'll have to check and get back to you. :-/

Would be good to know lol. When looking at a region where it says gold and food does that mean food/gold per week?
Family Sion of Twainville

The gold value there is gold generated by peasants each day.  You tax on top of it.  Thus if your region has a 10% tax, then after a week of taxation, you would get 70% of that value in total collected taxes.

The food value, likewise, I'll need to check on. :)

It used to be that the food harvested by a region was 1.4 times the displayed value, per 7-day harvest. If the regional food rating was 10, then you would harvest 140 bushels a week. (This is a relic of the originally implemented 5-day harvest, which was changed so many years ago, that it was before I started playing.) You have to modify this based on regional production, weather, and (Dwilight/FEI only) the season. Not sure how that works with the new daily harvest system used on testing islands.
