Which are?

I always figured them as people with javelins, mostly. Throw a bunch, and then use them to poke the pointy ends at people who get too close.

Or slings, which they then use as flails once in melee, or other such versatile weapons that can both be used from range and in melee.

I know they currently have their own behavior. But everyone has always said that MI behavior sucks. Hence why I believe they should just adopt other established behaviors instead.

I had always figured a bow and a sword with decent armor, maybe a buckler as well.

I guess that also fits.

I pictured MI having their bow modified to have pointy swords on either end and a shield in the middle like one of Leonardo Da Vinci's drawings.
The above is accurate 25% of the time, truthful 50% of the time, and facetious 100% of the time.

Is there such a thing as a MI center with range 4?
After all it's a roleplaying game.

I have never seen one.  All I have seen is a range of 1-3

Indirik

Maximum range for mixed infantry is 3.
If at first you don't succeed, don't take up skydiving.

No, archers have a maximum range of 4.
