I love the idea of the message being cut off at some random point.  Include the dots in place of spaces, and then add a dying sound.

That's what you get for not bringing your caravan with your own food.  Foraging is for dead people.

I never bothered with it before, but the last few campaigns I've dragged around a couple of caravans with some food and it's so damn useful. I don't take starvation casualties and I can sell the food if necessary to prevent starvation in a region.

But that is not really an option in the testing islands anymore.
