Perhaps we should include a new record system for after the restrictions via honour/prestige?

Some of those dates are really old. Can people still recruit that many cavalry units?

That's what I'm saying. It was before the restrictions were put in place. It would be impossible to recruit that many cavalry under the current rules without at least 1500 honor.  or more perhaps.

Biggest Special Forces unit:
105 SF fielded by Bob Baceolus of Melhed, Beluaterra (October 31, 2008) --Vita Family 10:28, 1 November 2008 (CET)

That was the Random Untrained Guys With Forks right? They were still kicking around up until a couple months ago, so if that's the all-time record just makes it even more impressive.

... you can recruit over your max limit by finding volunteers.

Those are pretty old stats, anyone can beat those? :)
The above is accurate 25% of the time, truthful 50% of the time, and facetious 100% of the time.

well.. there's a guy with over 1k honor and 48 prestige in melhed... he could probably recruit a ton of sf.

there's another guy with 300 odd honor buy 80 odd prestige.. (eh?)

funny how my priest/courtier (was mostly courtier, now priest) character has joint 3rd highest prestige in bt. the latest point (50) came from investment.... a load of old farts hogging the tables.

Uh that melhed guy is the guy who is still holding the record I believe. Him and Sceptre(?) Meadowcrest on EC.

Many years ago, prestige was much easier to get. Like, as easy as honor. This changed 7 or more years back. The people you see running around with >60 or so prestige are dinosaurs from those prehistoric ages.
If at first you don't succeed, don't take up skydiving.

Velax

Is Prestige harder to get the more you have of it?

Is that affected by Unique items? So if you have, say, 35 Prestige and +10 in Uniques, does the game consider you to have 35 Prestige or 45 in terms of how difficult it is to earn more?

lol dinosaurs.

And yes it is so hard to get any prestige once you go over 45. After 45, you won't get prestige from fighting monsters and undeads anymore even against same sized units.

Indirik

I don't know if uniques affect it. Off the top of my head, I would say they do.

But not that much. I mean you'd need hundreds of volunteers.

I have >500 Honour and 40 prestige, and my character can only recruit 115 cavalry.
