FEI Dynamic Map

Here's what I'm talking about:

That thickened region border on the lower right hand side of the highlighted portion of the map. It also appears on the Dynamic map, but only with the Realms, Weather Area and Diplomacy overlays.

Also happens in Luria Vesperi, Dwilight. Not really a big deal, though.
d'Arricarrère Family: Torpius (All around Dwilight), Felicie (Riombara), Frederic (Riombara) and Luc (Eponllyn).

Indirik

It only appears on the Arcaea realm map, not the island-wide dynamic map. Here's a close-up:

The realm maps are generated by fusing all the individual region polygons into a single realm polygon. When these two regions (Orbeh and Mraulaxon) are fused together, the divergence if the common border leaves a sliver-shaped hole. The map then has to outline that hole with a thick border. That causes the artifact you see. To fix it, the paths of one of the two regions would have to be redrawn to match the other.
If at first you don't succeed, don't take up skydiving.

This is exactly what I need, including the info that there's a similar problem on Dwilight. These are polygon tracing bugs that are hard to find because the dev server does not support the polygon merging code.

Can you say which regions exactly, or make a screenshot, please?

Tom

Orbeh should be fixed now.

Log in with a Dwilight Character, then hit this link:
http://battlemaster.org/testing/RealmDetails.php?ID=51

There are two borders that show it:
1) Thor Gortauth and Garuk Utor
2) Thor Gortauth and Shinnen Purlieus

Tom

Ok, please try Dwilight again now.

It's fixed now, thank you for that.

On a vaguely related note, is it possible to make the colours of the Diplomacy overlay more differentiated? The colour difference between self and allied is very small, as is the difference between self and neutral.

I found two more of those thickened lines on the FEI Dynamic map:

1. Between Anacan and Ansopen.
2. Between Topenah and Arempos.

Also, on the Diplomatic overlay, Arcaea, Sorraine and Cathay are joined together, with no border between them.

Damn the mapmaker for fortelling our plans!  8)

could someone put this into a bug report, on the bugtracker, please? It'll get lost here.
