Battlemaster Newspaper (Oracle?)

Greetings all,

About a month ago I started to do research on the past rulers of Eston and it turned out to be quite the struggle to find information.  Most of the newspapers are inactive and there's not really any repository of recorded history. (an Oracle?)

What I would love is to see an automated newsletter that listed, by continent, major battles, political changes (declarations of war, change of relation status) and government changes.  Battlemaster has a rich history but finding it can be hard.

If this exists anywhere please let me know.

Best regards,
Scott

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that there isn't a single active newspaper right now.

Maybe I'll hedge my bets and say perhaps one across all the continents.

I believe there is a stream of important happenings on each continent somewhere which is automated. I can't remember where though.

Are you thinking of the world news page?
The above is accurate 25% of the time, truthful 50% of the time, and facetious 100% of the time.

That is awesome, and we should promote it more.  It just shows battle, just add political changes to it and that's prefect!

Ironsides' Ashrak Imperialist has pretty regular issues.

I don't know that I would consider that a "news"paper.

That world news feed also seems to miss a lot of events. The FEI one mentions Aenilia taking a rogue Hupar, for example, but has no mention of Arcaea taking the rogue Dark Isle regions.

Sure, I just meant in what we generally call "newspapers" for BM. ie. commentary/reports on events stylized in an issue type release on the wiki.

In any arena there are newspapers, and then their are tabloids :)

And then there are internet forums.  ;D
After all it's a roleplaying game.

Another player from Nivemus and myself recently started a newspaper with the goal of covering all of the Eastern Continent. I've been working on researching a few editorials on the history of Fontan: Past Present and Future and the current state of religions on the island. We will also be continuing the monthly power rankings amongst the realms.

The only issue is communication and getting good information and contacts.

I also have a neat idea to create an free ad space above the Editorial section. There, interested parties can send me images in banner form fitting the dimensions. There players can advertise religions, guilds, or fake products from their regions or realms. All for just flavor and fun though.

Personally, I really enjoy the Wiki newspapers people run. I don't know why they've gone so out of fashion.

The players that used to have the time to dedicate to them have decidedly less time, and no one else has really stepped up to run any.
