Is it possible to ignore particular threads or subboards so they don't show "new"?
The above is accurate 25% of the time, truthful 50% of the time, and facetious 100% of the time.

The mod is installed, but it only works for entire boards. The theme we use does not support the controls needed to ignore individual threads.

Do you know a theme that does?

I've mucked about a little bit with SMF themes/mods (really, just a little bit), and if all that's needed is munging some interface code across from one theme to another, I don't think that would be super-hard.

Not offhand. I just remember Tom saying that the current theme doesn't support the added controls. The problem with modding the theme is that you would have to redo the mods whenever Tom updates the forum software.
