Repairing unique items

Is there any way to repair a Unique Item other than by Sages? My noble has a Unique Weapon that a few days ago was in the low 30s - high 20s in condition. Yesterday it suddenly jumped up to 64%. Not that I am complaining, but how did this happen?

Condition can change if stats changed.
