Looting past the peasant militia

What it adds to the game is ensure that a region can not be looted to total destruction in one or two turns just because you managed to show up with 50 people.

It used to be that *any* peasant mob prevented any looting at all. At least now you've got a chance.
If at first you don't succeed, don't take up skydiving.

No. That is not true. Before, everyone could attempt to loot past the peasant militia, and some would be successful.

You young whippersnapper. Back when *I* started playing, a single peasant with a pitchfork could hold off an entire army of battle-hardened soldiers. That was back when peasant were *tough*. Not like the sissy peasants they have now who can be intimidated by mere 10:1 odds against them.
