I just had the following:
"Meet with Ghash... - the simple Sage."
He took some "Monster Teeth" to repair my item: Aegis of Piety // Shield // 53 % // + 4
And achieved the following results:
"The sage takes your Monster Teeth and vanishes into his workshop, or whatever it is he is hiding back there.
After a while, he emerges and your Aegis of Piety has been repaired. Its new condition is
54 %."
Is this a normal result for repairs? It seems quite a coincidence that he is "simple", and fail at the same time...
I'm inclined to think that it is intentional
Edit: Thats a bit more like it -
