If have units from three realms in a federation in a single region with two of them set to murderous, what do you think the likely siding will be? Will the two murderous gang up on the non-murderous or will one of the murderous pair up with the non-murderous against the other murderous?

Depends on the situation. Whose realm are you in? Has there been a battle there already (last turn)?

I am in Luria Vesperi and was just wondering how Luria Nova and Solaria could perform a joint attack against Luria Vesperi. Not saying that they really want to ( ;D), but the idea had me scratching my head and digging through the wiki. I found that realms at peace or higher can only attack each other using the murderous settings but there was not much regarding the situation I was thinking of. I figured I would see if anyone has seen such a thing  and recalled the result! I would be curious to see how it might work out!

If LV troops are stationary in an LV region, and LN/Solaria troops move into the region set on Murderous, then both of them should attack LV. LV will be the defender. It will be difficult to sustain, though. Lots of things can go wrong on subsequent rounds causing any imaginable situation, depending on who wins the first battle, who has more men, who turns off Murderous and who leaves it on, etc.
If at first you don't succeed, don't take up skydiving.
