Region description updates

I have noticed that some region descriptions are considrably outdated, while others have no description at all. Is region description deficult? How does the gm review of descriptions work?

its lord based not gm based.

the lord writes it. then there's a feedback/rating system.

GMs don't need to approve it before it shows, right?

It doesn't need to be approved before it shows up in game.

The ones where I've added or changed the region description haven't been rated and I did it months ago now.
