I'm just picking up on this thread (ventured into here while bored)... I had to laugh, though, because I was raised in Texas. Most of my family is in Texas as well.

Me, though, I'm in NJ now, but am technically "from" Albany, NY, even though I can't remember it.

Born in Texas and live in NJ? Ewww. Picture it if you will: tanned to a leathery consistency wearing a bad pink polo with the collar popped, super tight blue jeans, a chintzy gold necklace, shutter shades, snake skin boots and an overly large stetson.

Except I'm part Irish, and live in rural NJ close to the border with PA. No accent from either place, either! It's kinda like winning the lottery.

I do hate NJ tho. Damn guidos.

So everything I said before with the addition of a whiskey bottle, a perpetually nagging and pregnant wife who.is balancing a pair of babies already, and a strange fixiation for fudge. Got it. ;)
