What is Freedom? - ye can tell; That which slavery is, too well; For its very name has grown; To an echo of your own

T'is to work and have such pay; As just keeps life from day to day; In your limbs, as in a cell; For the tyrants' use to dwell

I have to say that I really love vonGenfs original suggestion and have mostly been trying to find was to tweek it. I really think that battle is no longer the sole, or even the primary, part of the game anymore. Achieving something is. Founding and building a religion, ruling a duchy or kingdom, leading armies, and probably more. Heck, aside from killing off monsters/undead, battles seem to be pretty tough to come by.

I hope you'll change the name, Battlemaster has turned off a lot of my friends from playing, it makes it seem like a Travian-esque click 2 win game.

Some "paths" thing could also work.

Maybe you could also name it after something "Romance of the Three Kingdoms"-esque, though that's might draw in too many Japanese vibes. Romance of the many kingdoms, romance of the continental kingdoms, variants?

Shorter names are the best ones. Too bad most of them are taken.

Somewhat off-topic, but pondering this question I had to think back of Kentucky's excellent motto (known for horse racing and bourbon, apparently):

Unbridled Spirit.

We could use a name that good :)

Kingdoms.

Nice and simple, and describes it pretty well, I think.

Remember that is not mainly a Action-Simulation  game, there are background histories behind everyone here, so what about.
