If BattleMaster would not already have a name - what would you name it?

vonGenf

That is an excellent question. I'll have a hard time coming up with a truly original name, but if you don't mind things that have been used before....

Paths of Glory

The rationale being that BM is truly having playing a noble character: it's about the journey, not the target.
After all it's a roleplaying game.

Nosferatus

If i think of something catchy that captures how the game feels i come up with this:

Lord of Kings, something that sounds ilogical untill you actually play the game :)

Fuedal Fueds or just Fuedality, or Fuedmaker(s)

or Mediaeval, Medieval

i also like von genfs suggestion

Formerly playing the Nosferatus and Bhrantan Family.
Currently playing the Polytus Family in: Gotland, Madina, Astrum, Outer Tilog

Foundation

The above is accurate 25% of the time, truthful 50% of the time, and facetious 100% of the time.

Ketchum

Medieval Master, Plot Master... though PeaceMaster sounds opposite from BattleMaster ;D
Werewolf Games: Villager (6) Wolf (4) Seer (3); Lynched as Villager(1). Lost as Villager(1), Lost as Wolf(1) due to Parity. Hunted as Villager(1). Lynched as Seer(2).
Won as Villager(3). Won as Seer(1). Won as Wolf(3).
BM Characters: East Continent(Brock), Colonies(Ash), Dwilight(Gary)

Indirik

Hmm... Is A Game of Thrones taken yet? That would be a really cool name for this game. Maybe I should copyright that before someone else does... ;)
If at first you don't succeed, don't take up skydiving.

Actually, I was thinking A Clash of Kings worked better...except that "Kings" is too specific.

Perhaps something like "Principalities and Powers"?

I'm trying to come up with something that riffs on "All politics is the continuation of war by other means," but that isn't ridiculously long, to no avail thus far...

How about "Islands of Intrigue"?

Draco Tanos

Lands of Intrigue would sound better.  "Island" gives off a feeling of tiny and unimportant.  These are continents, not mere islands after all.

"The Continuation of Politics" isn't a bad title! I like it.
After all it's a roleplaying game.

JPierreD

Quill & Blade or the likes.
d'Arricarrère Family: Torpius (All around Dwilight), Felicie (Riombara), Frederic (Riombara) and Luc (Eponllyn).

Chenier

Feudal Wars (or Feudal Strife)
Dit donc camarade soleil / Ne trouves-tu ça pas plutôt con / De donner une journée pareil / À un patron

BardicNerd

Kingdoms.

Nice and simple, and describes it pretty well, I think.
