My first day in Astrum:, attacked by monsters, wounded, and unit wiped out to the last man.

Welcome to Dwilight!

I remember my first week on Dwilight. It was pretty much that, and then I received a whopping 1 gold of tax revenue to make up for it.
After all it's a roleplaying game.

Darksun

He should try a less evolved realm ;)

Sacha

It is a never-ending onslaught indeed. Not that I complain, the non-stop monster battles have left me the most honorable/prestigious noble in PeL/Luria Nova by a mile.

At least monsters and undead give you something to do.

Nosferatus

wouldn't it be more fun if the monsters/undead came in waves? like with wave one easy, wave 2 medium, wave 3 hard, wave 4 very hard.
With 1 as the most common type of wave and 4 the rarest.
realms would have perhaps a whole month of nothing and then suddenly 2 weeks long struggling large waves of monsters, sometimes even building up wave after wave.

because there is so much wilderness in Dwilight, some small monsters/undead might travel in plundering bands, seeking out the richer regions, thus realms.

this of course for Dwilight only.

Quite radical but fun.
Formerly playing the Nosferatus and Bhrantan Family.
Currently playing the Polytus Family in: Gotland, Madina, Astrum, Outer Tilog

This used to be reality on Dwilight... and it was NOT fun.

Shizzle

I dont know about you, but in Fissoa they do seem to come in waves, somehow. Perhaps because the Palm Sea acts as a giant hub.

First it's quiet for a while, and then suddenly we have monsters in 4 regions at once ... :) good fun!

Once we tried reinforcing Giask and found monsters in all regions on the way there ... not fun :)

Telrunya

That's pretty much what's happening now if you're in the right Realms! The Nebel Region is quite often assaulted by waves of Monsters and Undead, last time we had four battles in a row with each time a new group. The Marrocidens is just one huge wave of endless rogues...

Yeah, and Raviel and Port Raviel are manned by about one unit between the two of them. I started off in Shadovar in those same islands, and the monsters were always a problem.

Shizzle

Well, we're meant to carve out an existence on Dwilight, and that is exactly what were all trying to do, isn't it?:) The room for expansion and exploration is Dwilight's biggest asset :)

Galvez

My Dwilight Experience has been a rollercoaster. Soon appointed as Lord, followed by another Lordship. Started my own guild. Joined a succession. Became the Banker of Giask, followed by a civil war and now am ruling my own realm in Rettleville.  ;)

Would anyone care for my rollercoaster story?

Glaumring the Fox

Thulsoma when I founded it was constantly being attacked, I mean constant, it didnt end until I finally got a bunch of nobles to abandon the realm... The Saxons could have it, was fun to be there but kind of out of control.

Artemesia, would love to hear yours. lol then mine?
