Excessive OOC discussion is what IRC is all about.

idk, I think there's a difference between discussion of what people should do, planning and strategizing and politiking, and having a detached, objective conversation about the state of politics. I think the latter is interesting and the former community-ruining.

They'll just take it to the IRC.

Good.

These guys are notorious OOC users and a slap on the wrist won't change that, it's in their blood.

I'm...not sure what this means.

You're an OOC user, too, Norrel. Unless you're telling me that you never do anything that isn't directly related to your BattleMaster characters' thoughts and actions.

I'm a notorious schemer, but I always take my plots in game. Ask any of the people I've plotted with. Pages upon pages of IG schemes, that got a catalyst from an IRC convo.

Irc is pretty much how I socialize, and it's also a good part of how I've made friends all over. Ffs, I just moved to Belgium because of BM and IRC combined. It's a good thing to have it around.

That's not what I meant but I can see how I communicated poorly.

All I'm saying is that there's a difference between talking about the game in an OOC discussion and making group decisions through OOC mechanisms. Talking about a rebellion is alright by me, talking things out with the aggrieved parties on the IRC to prevent that rebellion is bad. In my opinion.

I'm jet lagged to hell but I hope this is a more coherent explanation.

Reason #193 why IRC is the devil's playground.

Pike

Stupid puase and unpuase buttons on phone... got characters confused and  now Abbigal is paused Sigh....

If somone would be so kind as to offer the following explanation in game I would  appreciate it.

Lady Imperatice Abbigal Pike was found unresponsive  in Balance's Retreat temple of Sanguis Astroism.   Healers and priests can  not tell if she was poisoned or if she has gone into a  meditative state while she worshipers the bloodstars.  Or perhaps  some evil heathen force has taken root in her soul and battles with her.  All that they can tell is that she  does not respond to anything around her.

I had wondered what had happened. Figured real life had taken precedence. I posted the RP for you.
Eoric the Dim (Perdan), Enoch the Bright (Asylon), Emeric the Dark (Obsidian Islands)

Orobos, The Insatiable Snake (Sandalak)

Who else is running?

OOCly, a part of me would be very interested to see what happens if Bowie is elected ruler...
After all it's a roleplaying game.

Shouldn't be all that different if someone else won. Maybe a lot more fun?
