Out of nowhere, Agent Telrunya had previously reappeared to cast his vote but as he goes back to every inactive's favourite hideout, the John in the Pit, aka the Johnpit he finds the Thing in there. Maniacal laughter can be heard saying "Agent Telrunya, let's play the claw game" as the Thing claws the shower curtain open. It was smart and had stalked Telrunya for sometime now but didn't realize that Telrunya had just left to cast his vote which saved his life. In the scream of rage that was now venting from the Thing, Telrunya wisely decided to slip away and find another hidey hole...

...but first he had to complete his objective and he sets out to accomplish it and comes face to face with... danger. What was the saying now? Away from the Ghost and into the Darkness...

That doesn't sound like he is one of the things.

The 1st Infected will need 3 successful inactive attacks first.

I figure it refers to that.

D'Espana was already dead when Lefanis was protected, I think that rules things out. Disturbedyang's analysis was also correct in the sense that I protected the Thing that turn, it's why Dishman got lynched.

Here is what I suggest we do. Every time one of you posts, I get even more suspicious.

So I think we should work on two theories. My first theory is that Fury is subbing for inactive ThomasGriff, after he realised after first deadline that he was away.
Look at the RPs-

The next morning, everyone finds Agent Thomasgriff lying in the loo, half drained of his blood with the words "and either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives" written in blood on the wall.

This is deadline 8. So my assumption is that he wounded himself, to throw us off track for few more days. The other referred to might be the new infected thing.

This one suggests the thing was in the inactive hideout... Plus, it was the ghost thing, which suggests the character was inactive.

At the same time, another voice started screaming in the dark. Agent Thomasgriff had finally appeared and he collapsed in the main hall where people could see that something had scraped the following unfinished sentence into the back of his head:
"Send my regards to M or is it your other..."

Other... Boss? Puppetmaster?

Let us all vote ThomasGriff, usually Fury pulls a little trick like this. We know it isn't a dead person, we know its one of us alive. He is the only one we have let off for being inactive.

My second theory is to catch the infected, or if my first theory is wrong.

I call on Cren to heal Penchant or Telrunya. Then I can buy his story that he isn't the thing, or if he is infected, it hasn't set in yet.

I call on Telrunya to openly say these exact words- "I am not the Thing or the infected"

I call on Ketchum to scan Telrunya when he says them.

I myself shall remove the last vote against Thomasgriff to prove I'm the black ops.

I call on Penchant to scan Ketchums thoughts.

If anyone doesn't do it, we lynch them tomorrow. This way, we know who can be cleared for sure.

Hmm, GM got clarify that Thing can wound itself and still able to hunt that night. OMG! :o

If we have a look at the wounded, D'Espana(wounded, healed and lynched), me(previously wounded but healed), Penchant(just wounded) and Thomasgriff(still wounded) are cleared.

What role is Thomasgriff anyway? ???

The first part is a good find, but I don't see how it connects to what you say next. I ask that you follow my lead and vote Thomasgriff.

Since inactivity is reset after every deadline, if there are 2 inactive then both can be successfully attacked. If all are active, then the one that can be successfully attacked is the one that posts the least.

Covert Operator works by scanning someone and GM will check that someone for any PMs to GM (which are considered talking aloud to oneself).

Sounds like a plan to me. We should be able to narrow down who it is like that. I have no better options right now, as it will clear things up.

The death of Disturbedyang sparked the most intense discussion yet. The mood was grim. Agent Cren was the first to speak up and seemed to be rather keen to prove his innocence. At one point Agent Lefanis who had been consistently coherent even started saying gems like:

Wy have to been giving them late, like the he of a Dishpan, days after his lynching?

Agent Ketchum wanted to scan everyone twice. Agent Telrunya proclaimed his innocence. Agents Penchant and Thomasgriff just sat silently. In the end, Cren and Telrunya followed Lefanis' lead and confronted Thomasgriff until it was pointed out that Telrunya's vote was suspiciously missing and so he had to sit down again.

Thomasgriff got up and slowly back away from the two until suddenly he stopped, grinned and held out his hands and said, "All right, I give up. Here, take me in", as he offered his hands and in the next instant, two spring-loaded guns popped out from his sleeves into his hands as he points each one at Lefanis and Cren.

"Do you like these beauties, old boy?" he laughed out loud. "They're the latest things from Q." Now, which one shall I shoot? The first or the second? Or... how about we let Fate decide?" his grinned widened. As both Lefanis and Cren yell out loud they rush him and he fires BOTH guns at them and the loud CLICKS were the last thing that the two would ever hear... and that was it. The guns were empty because Thomasgriff's mind was never here - only his body. Years in the Pit had seen to that. He had no interest in capturing or killing the Thing but they weren't taking chances.

Two shots to his head put him out of his misery but after careful observation, no transformation occured. Everyone had concentrated on the little drama but as they got back to their table, Penchant was missing! No one knew when he had quietly slipped out. They hurriedly mounted a search rescue and didn't have to go far. On a nearby floor, they found him with his face looking like what happens when it meets a plunger - a giant tentacle sucking plunger. This time, there were no funny messages. It was a different modus operandi. The Darkness had been reborn. And now, they were down to the semi-finals of survival...


Thomasgriff is lynched.
Telrunya still looks wounded.
Penchant is attacked and killed.
