Penchant and Disturbedyang were my prime suspects earlier. I'm still not sure on why we chose to sit out a lynching last night, but I sure don't want to miss another one. And I know Lefanis is at least not the Thing. I'm left confused and I'm far from sure, but I have to go with my earlier instincts.

Healing is no danger as long as there is just one Thing left, I believe. It will just prevent the Thing from killing me.

Agents Cren, Ketchum and Telrunya wouldn't listen to Agent Disturbedyang. They came after him with murder in their eyes and finished him off... but there was no transformation. In horror, they silently skulked away in shame at what they had done.

Meanwhile, Agent Lefanis was busy burning Snot's body or what was left of it. Before he burnt it, though, he had reassembled it and came to the conclusion that there were no missing pieces.

Everyone gathered around for a discussion and a check on the remaining survivors:

Cren
Lefanis
Telrunya
Ketchum
Penchant
Thomasgriff

Half of them were now gone. Several theories had been proposed. How many of them were debunked and how many of them were left to be checked? Have they now ruled everyone out? If so, what then? A wise literary character once said that once you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth. The question was, what do they have remaining or have they missed something? Upon that thought they turned in for the night.

.... and in the night, the Thing struck again. "We have much to discuss Agent Penchant. To the Ghost and the Darkness we go", it whispered as it left Penchant for dead. Or so it thought.

One thing was certain - the Thing had all their routines and hideout down to memory. It was free to attack anyone and no one - was safe anymore.



Penchant is wounded.

Telrunya still looks wounded.
Thomasgriff is wounded and cannot be healed.

Once again the survivors gather round to discuss their survival options. It was clear that there were three things they needed to do.

It might also be a good idea to go back to the basics of investigations - motives, opportunities, threats, strengths, weaknesses, etc. Additionally, through a series of knocking on pipes in Morse code, communications had been established with MI6 Control! While they were still some days on digging through to them (there were 100 levels between them after all), there were some good news as the survivors reported back the events thus far, Control had managed to confirm the identities of the KGB Agent (Sonya) and the Mossad Agent (Stabbity).

The question remained, would MI6 defeat the Thing and prove to the world once and for all that it was the best secret Intelligence in the world or would they also be overcome by the terror from beyond the world, now in its fourth incarnation? One thing was for sure: The Agents had better step it up...

...and no, voting Fury or dead people wasn't it. ;D

Currently having problems with my ISP - it can't connect to BM ??? I have to connect through an online proxy which doesn't let me reply to PMs so I'm replying all the PMs here:

The 2nd Thing is free to attack anyone and was free since the last attack.
The 1st Infected will need 3 successful inactive attacks first.
Infected will not lose human ability UNTIL he turns into the infected Thing.
Attacks are not kills - people still need to be wounded first before being killed.
Lynching someone kills right away.
The Thing, like everyone else can have and has only ONE role - if it's the Thing then it's the Thing and nothing else.

I recall GM Fury very interested to make all scanners powers, fairly distribute across all players. So my one scan result on a player is not enough, that why I tried scanned one player at least 2 times.

How I know Sonya is the Highly Suspected? See her forum post that I analyse ;D
From there, I deduce that she is lying that our task is to kill the Thing when in fact, she want to protect the Thing.

My role is Behavioural Analyst.
Scans a person's speech (thread post) and analyzes it (truths, lies, fears, motives, etc).
She is not telling the truth about the last part.

Cren-if u are saying it for the sake of saying it, it doesn't make a difference.

Sonya sort of gave me the feeling that, "Oh, these guys are fighting among themselves, i should stay out of it." - something that happens when you are the bad guy. At least that's my opinion for now unless you can change that.

Cren - what do you even mean by spreading the infection? Your excuse on Dishman was irrelevant at all. And somehow, posting at the end that you suspects someone else without analysis whatsoever. Sounds to me like you are trying to get one after the other with lynch and killing them. Something makes me think Fury will give you the main character after coming back from a long off. It seems that you were pretty "famous" despite that i haven't played with you before.

For now, i will try to see what sonya has to say...

I was about to post this...until Cren posted his. And i went back and analyse something.

Arrandal and Thomasgriff was inactive for the past few days. But not Telrunya. It's either he is working on the background, or he is the Thing.

I also asked GM some questions today for more confirmation.

1) Seeing the latest Update. Can the Thing attack anyone especially the talkative ones and kill them now? No more wounded?

It was free to attack anyone and no one - was safe anymore.

2) Will an infected human lost his human abilities? That infected human will not turn into the Thing just yet.
