Does anyone play this game? It just came out.

Bjarnson

Seems interesting, is it as good as it promises?
How is the multplayer aspect?

Sadly, it is somewhat rushed out.

It works good, but not perfect. For example, there are some game breaking bugs. (Crashing, random "nothing happens when I click a button") And full MP isn't implemented yet.

But in all it works, and when it gets fixed it will prob. be one of the better turn based (4x-ish) games.

Verdict: If you can afford both, then buy both the eador games and play the first one until the second is fixed since the second is basically the first one but with better graphics.

Does this come with a map generator?

I don't think so. (I can't find it anyway)

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Zakilevo

Nope.

And the game is buggy as hell. You can still finish your game but you will have to restart several times. Still the game is pretty good and I really hope the developers fix the bugs soon.

Bjarnson

Hmm, It seemed interesting. But I will wait a while to see if it get fixed.

Please keep me(this thread) posted :)

There's a reason it is called "broken world", right? Hahahaha :p

It seems nice though.

Zakilevo

It is more buggier than I thought hmmm. But I gotta say it is a nice game. Feels like Heroes M&M + Civilization. Too bad my computer isn't good enough to fight more than 2 computers. Even with one computer it takes solid min :(. The game is relatively easy. I went straight for Expert against one computer and beat the computer in 201 turns.

One thing I have realized is that once you start, you are pretty much stuck in your own castle for good 10 turns unless you are lucky to find a province with weak defenders. Once your hero becomes strong enough and has some items (or if you have a mage then you might want some spells before leaving your castle), you can start expanding though farther you move away from your castle, enemies become stronger.

You can only ally with one of the eight races at a time so be careful on which race you choose. I've only played two games so far so can't tell which ally is better but both of my allies seem to be rather weak.

Overall, I really like this game and really hope they fix bugs soon since it is really annoying to restart the game over and over!

Zakilevo

Finally.

They fixed most of the game breaking bugs. Now it is actually playable.
