How are those bad realm names?

Not sure about Summerdale, but D'Hara is just the most blatant attempt I've personally seen to gratuitously bring a fictional kingdom from outside BM into BM. Not just the name, but the position titles were copied directly from Terry Goodkind's books (which, while I like the first one, do not improve as they go along, which is probably part of my objection).
Timothy Collett

Summerdale was the self-proclaimed succesor state of Springdale. Spring -> Summer... I thought it was kinda clever.

Same, honestly.  Though I'd question a Falldale or Autumndale...

how is the name funny?
I used to spell it Fartonite republic all the time  :D

I always thought Outer Tilog and Assassins were weird realm names.
What is Freedom? - ye can tell; That which slavery is, too well; For its very name has grown; To an echo of your own

Terran.

Loved the realm.

Hated the name.

The problem with that name is that it, it's adjective use, inhabitants of it, as well as their nationality are all the same word.

Also it means "Earth," in Latin, which means "dirt" in English. Terran = dirt.

I thought he hated it because it's a StarCraft reference....

Terran has been a word long, long before StarCraft was even an idea in someone's mind.

Yeah, it's Latin, but I don't think that is why it was used. Pretty positive that it was a purposeful StarCraft reference.

- Current: Kemen (D'hara) - Past: Kerwin (Eston), Kale (Phantaria, Terran, Melodia)

If so, that's a pretty poor one as anyone wanting to reference the game would use Confederacy of Tarsonis...

Which would possibly be true, if that was actually its name.  ::)

Your Prime Minister changed the realm's full name to the Mighty Cagilan Empire. It doesn't show up outside of the "realm government" information section at present, but its there.  Also, this:

THE MIGHTY CAGILAN EMPIRE
We are the Lions of Atamara in the heart of Atamara

I am God's lion, hear me roar
Ego leo dei (sum), audi me rugientem

I am God's lion, my roar brings down the highest walls and lays down the mightiest trees
Ego leo dei sum, murmur meum altissimos muros destruit, potissimas arbores caedere
