Pausing character

If for some reason I paused a character would I lose the unique item? What a horrible thing that would be.

Just curious on the matter really.

I believe you will. Maybe you can hand it over for a friend...

If you Vacation Pause the character, you will keep the item.

If you put the character in Cold Storage, it will be dropped.
