Banishment text - cutting off in family history prior to 255 characters?

Kain

My char Kasia banished a noble with the following motivation.

"He refused to follow orders, claiming far-fetched religious circumstances, and thereby hindered our war effort. Indirectly, he wished us to lose the war in favour of his religion. May this banishment humbl"

At least according to my word processor, that is 205 characters. It cut off "e him."

"Describe your reason below (max 255 characters)" is what it says on that page. Why give 255 if it cuts off at 205? It would just be misleading. Or have I counted incorrectly?

The program I used, Scrivener, counts spaces yes.

I decided to count manually too. Sure I haven't slept in 24 hours and I probably counted a little wrong. I got 201 (before cut off). But I didn't get 54 characters wrong...

Keep in mind that there are escape characters for some of those characters, depending on the database used. Comma's and quotes especially.

Either way, I would propose (if this is not a bug, I have seen a lot of these cases over the years) that we limit the possibility of writing longer than what is shown in the family history.

It is quite ugly when the banishment ends mid-sentence.
