Make seceding available to Duke, even when not margrave

I was shocked when i realized that i cant secede cause i'm not margrave and dont have command tab.

Would be nice if Duke could secede without being margrave.

I believe you need to be in the city if you want to secede. Can't do it from anywhere else.

This is for my Duke but not Margrave.

Secession - You must be in the city you want to declare as your new capital.

Not sure whether having a Lordship within your duchy is a prerequisite.

Having a Lordship opens up the Command Tab, so that seems to be the difference.

OK, I've made a preliminary fix to give Dukes back the command tab, and will be trying to winnow out the powers Dukes who aren't Lords should have over the next few days.

Tom is away for the week, unfortunately, so the fixes won't go live for at least that long.

It should be possible to just go to the Secession page directly in the interim if a week's wait will upset your plans. (I don't consider this a URL exploit, because you should have access to it anyway.)
