This is a pointless discussion that comes up every 2 months or so. The correct answer is "Who cares?" If someone in Sirion wants to claim he's an elf, then let him. If you need to feel bad about it, then sigh sadly to yourself and move on. Personally, I ignore everything that has to do with elves, and just treat everyone as a normal human. In the past 7.5 years, it never once ruined my gaming experience.
