[21-09-2013] The recently proclaimed Maritime Kingdom of Fissoa and the Republic of Barca have won the war against Aurvandil. Since Mendicant's death, Aurvandil has been struggling and was slowly, but steadily, losing strength and influence. When the war opened on two fronts, the results of that were clearly visible. The resistance posed by the armies of Aurvandil was meager. Eventually, only her cities defense was capable of discouraging a direct attack at the walls of Candiels. However, the siege was ongoing, the city surrounded, and no food was entering the city. Its people caved in, risen up and revolted against Aurvandil and changed their allegiance to Fissoa.

I posted something related to that in General Discussion a week or two ago, when the city first fell. Similar to this one, too.

As their brethren in Madina had before them, during the Falkirk Occupation, the citizens of Candiels have overthrown their dishonourable leaders and wholeheartedly pledged themselves to the Maritime Kingdom of Fissoa. Fissoan soldiers have entered the city as liberators, not conquerors, with celebrations erupting throughout the starving city as families reunite and rumors of incoming shipments of grain proliferate.

Aurvandil has fallen.
:'( Barca was not mentioned by you.

"Fissoan soldiers have entered the city as liberators, not conquerors, with celebrations erupting throughout the starving city as families reunite and rumors of incoming shipments of grain proliferate. And also the Barcans showed up after all was said and done, and seemed a bit confused and let down."

That is too much praise.

No seriously, Barca taking over Aurvandil's rural lands had nothing to do with the city's starvation?
Also, we were in favour of actually sieging the city, instead of starving them to death.

Take it easy, tiger. Also, probably not the place to discuss the Aurvandil War.

After much time, I am hereby taking up Announcement duties for not only Facebook (still setting up connection), but also Twitter. So...anyone have something to announce?

This has gotten rather dormant. Any news to be posted?

A Portal opened in the North for sometime threw off unwary adventurers and hurting, wounding them according to their Portal Stones quantity. Naturally the more Stones you have, the more serious wound you faced.

Another Portal resolved in a positive light down South in D'Hara. Rogue is reported reducing their presence there or so it seems.
