Demolition Tools

Anyone who can demolish buildings can use them. If you're the average warrior you should be able to use it.

I have had one other person tell me (ingame) that only Cavaliers can use demolition tools. So with two conflicting answers, I am still none the wiser  :(

The only thing cavalier give you is the ability to command more men, and rack up honor faster.

Using demolition tools isn't restricted to any specific class or subclass.
