Is there anyone alive? I just came back to the game and started a character on the EC and one in the colonies.

I haven't heard from anyone yet in The Electorate of Minas Thalion....is that typical for the colonies?  It's been two days.

Yes, most of the game is rather quiet, so the colonies, long renown for being the least active island, is going to be more so.

Also join the Colonial Senate guild. When you expect the guild to be quiet as walking skeletons, there will be lot of talking there. Sometimes it quiet, sometimes it looks like everyone bargaining at market ::)
