I was having some problems connecting to BM, while the other sites were going through. Perhaps the problems are related.

I sent some messages this morning on BT and Dwi, and then it worked just fine. But now something seems to be not working :)

...you know you're addicted to BM when not being able to send messages is a terrible loss  8)

I am looking into it.  It is made trickier by the fact that the development server does not appear to exhibit this problem...

I noticed the General of Thalmarkin on BT changed his bulletin, and now that's blank too.

I have found what I believe to be the source of this problem, and committed a fix (rev. 5424).

I have emailed Tom asking him to run another update.

Will the fix make already sent messages no longer appear blank, or only affect future messages?

You want it to go back in time and read the minds of the people who were writing those messages to figure out what they wrote, but never made it into the DB? ;)

No, it should only work for future messages.
