went outside... and eh... didn't get to go home... i did kill 3 zombies with a water bomb.. alas apparently wasted as i didn't live long enough... that is the same water bomb that took the water that i should have drunk on the 1st day... doh.

i've joined the coalition... i guess i'll just build stuff this time around... maybe nip out a little bit for auto search

Yeah, I believe that before day five, if you die on that day (including in the attack), your achievements for the same day will not count. They will count if you die in the attack after day five, however. Dehydration, cyanide and infection will make you lose anything from that day, regardless of what day it is.

Best not to throw animals at zombies unless you are stuck and no one is coming to help you. They can be turned into food later ;)

I believe it was cancelled because we could only effectively join two coalitions to the same town. Anyone interested in trying a double-coalition town again?
