I've never seen his happen before. ???

Rumours spread that Eva Ji'Ardan, Queen, Lady Protector of Coralynth, Royal of Coralynth, Duchess of the Dark Isle, Margravine of Enlod, Marshal of the Shield of Coralynth's tournament had to be cancelled due to low participation.

I've seen it once or twice before. Rare, but not impossible or even improbable.

It's what happens when you plan your very first tournament ever, and don't account for travel times for all of your attendees. And so instead of getting everyone to come (and take a break from the constant warfare), almost NO ONE came.  This would have been the first tournament to be held anywhere in the Far East for over a year.

I will try again next year.

Yeah, Winter travel times were the killer. Anyone south of Ahael wouldn't have been able to make it even if they left as soon as the tournament was announced. Spring might be a better time for a tournament, I think.

I remember Cathay held one in late 2013. Cant' remember clearly. If the Empire indeed conquers the whole continent, it should definitely hold one.
