Can units refit in the capital of an ally?

It should be possible to repair damaged equipment in any allied city.

That is, however, the only refitting activity that you can engage in when outside your realm. You cannot cash bonds except in a city of your realm, you cannot recruit except in your capital, and you cannot buy paraphernalia outside your realm.

You can use the academy, the blacksmith, and the entertainment. You may be able to ask your family for gold. Or do some creative financing with guilds or religions. But as Anaris says, no cashing bonds.

Pretty sure you get your family's gold in bonds when outside your realm.

Or maybe it was that bonds count towards the 100 gold you can't have if you want to ask your family...
