Also, I think it is about time we get more items!

Plus, is there anyway for us to see each party's willingness to buy indicator? I will be a nightmare to keep track of every quest to figure it out.

Bought 1 Book of Wisdom for 140 gold

Sorry, there was a bug that removed party needs when a different party went on a quest. Oops.

I'll open a topic for suggestions.

This one is a little interesting. Well, the quest itself not:

The young daughter of a wealthy trader has gone missing and nobody has seen her for two days. Her father is worried and has hired the characters to investigate and bring her back.

They begin by looking into her room and the house, checking for clues.
They find the flyer of a wandering circus that is in town, making their show on a field just outside the walls.
Visiting the circus, they meet the wandering folks, people free but shunned, living in their waggons, constantly on the road, welcome in many towns on the first day for the news and entertainment they bring, but disliked soon after. The wandering folks are hesitant to talk to strangers.

But the characters charm them and soon find what they suspected, the girl living in one of the waggons, having fallen in love with a juggler.
Finally, they meet the girl herself, and decide to talk some sense into her.
She objects to most of what they say, but at least she agrees to come with them to see her father and talk to him.
They return the girl to her father, as promised, and collect their reward.

But behind the scenes, these characters have now advanced to level 2:

Yeah, I think I made a mistake somewhere.

Tom

Northmen are on their quest:

They arrive at the ruin and everything seems peaceful. It doesn't take long for them to find the entrance that leads down and there is a hole in one wall in the basement, leading into another room with a spiral stairway. Much further down, in the light of lamps and torches, they see a beautiful marble hall with four doors to pick from.

They pick the eastern door, and as they enter it shuts behind them. On the other side, they enter the hall of toughness. A chilling wind from nowhere pushes them back, and even the floor seems to be moving against them. The door on the other side of the room is open, with the warm glow of fire behind it, but reaching it seems impossible.

They struggle on and keep going. Step by step they come ahead, slow and slower. But finally, they reach the other end.
The labyrinth continues and finally leads them into a hall with three statues of warriors. As they enter, the door behind them closes shut, and the statues suddenly come alive! With swords and shields made from stone, they attack.

With no flesh to wound nor blood to draw, these stone warriors are formidable enemies, and even though they fight hard, the group gets beaten bloody. Just as the warriors tower above them, ready for the kill, they return to their positions and a voice says: "You failed this test, but you passed the first. You are given another chance to prove your worth."
The party takes a total of 20 points of damage, in marching order.
Sven Svenson takes 6 points of damage, minus 2 points of armour, losing 4 hitpoints.
Kugar Bear Shaman takes 4 points of damage, minus 2 points of armour, losing 2 hitpoints.
Small Willi takes 8 points of damage, minus 3 points of armour, losing 5 hitpoints.
Bjorn the Quick takes 2 points of damage but his armour of 2 points prevents serious damage.
They return to the town beaten and frustrated.

Quest Completed, party now has 10 gold available for shopping.
   Attributes that we would like to improve:
    * toughness (2)
    * damage (5)
    * armour (1.1)

They are now quite broke. Poor guys. Don't know what to do with them. Suggestions?

Zakilevo

We need to start adding hammers and maces to smash those rocks. Or someone who is expert in dealing with mechanical stuff. I mean all things have a weakness or two somewhere.

Also, maybe you should add a way for financially broken parties to comeback - like doing something that doesn't require combat for awhile? Or maybe they can simply fade away if they fail too often?

James

Allow shops to give credit options? Group commits to buy at a higher price but you only get it once they've completed their quest (and if they come back to your shop)
