I'm of the opinion that you can join whatever realm and make it a fun experience.

That said, Thalmarkin will not just get interesting in the future.

True, but as you just said about Thalmarkin some realms are spicier than others depending on their current situation.

Ok, in the end I have decided to keep my old char in Nivemus for at least some time and make two new ones in the Empire of the Shattered Vales, Beluaterra (110k CS of monsters, that's seriously amazing) and Madina, Dwilight (a new realm for me and close to the West, so monsters are guaranteed and expansion to new lands likely). I may make a new char in the south of EC when I delete the old one, but for the time being I'll leave it like this. Thank you all once again for your answers!  ;D
