I would normally leave this as "something in the game to figure out", but I can't help but feel something is not right here.

Eidulb Outskirts has daemons & normal rogues traveling to Eidulb; I scouted 2-3 times showing they were moving before moving to Eidulb Outskirts, but when I got there was engaged in battle.

Scouted EO again, still shows them all moving to Eidulb.

Not likely, monsters have in the past been known to be rabidly hostile to Daimons. I'd be more likely to think so if it were undead.

The GMs have occasionally given monsters and undead some nudges to go this way or that on Dwilight in recent times. In all the cases I know of, this has been to make sure that human realms have a fighting chance against them.

There are, however, occasionally bugs in how the code governing them works, so it doesn't always go quite as planned.

This would seem to be a bug; it shows them traveling for several turns, but they engaged in battle. They really should have arrived before now.

If it were a human controlling, it would seem they are misdirecting repeatedly.
