Looting gold killing too many peasants.

I think this needs to be adjusted. Looks like looting gold tends to kill more peasants than the amount of gold you get. At minimum, you end up killing 300 or more peasants if your unit size is over 80 or so.

My men just casually murdered 443 people while stealing 150 bushels worth of food.

Good thing I wasn't lenient, eh :P

Those numbers seem reasonable. I'd even say your men looted too few bushels, if thats what you were trying to loot.

443 kills during a 6 hour food raid with no instructions to be lenient shouldn't be the norm. That's three percent of the total. That would make looting wayyyy too powerful. Half a dozen people with big units can depopulate a region in days.

We flattened Shinnen over 6 days. Its population was at 20k when we arrived. After 6 days of looting gold, it was left with 1.6k.
