Playing a Daimon?

Basically what it says on the tin. I know GMs can play Daimons, but I have heard some players can do it as well. How would one accomplish this?

You've heard wrong. All Daimons are played by GMs.

Some players play on Daimon side, which might have lead to assumption that some players are playing Daimons.

DMs happen to also be players and that probably adds to the confusion.
