Hello, I made a core account and tried to make a Battlemaster account through that but it did not work. How can I make an account otherwise?

EDIT: I tried on two different computers and on Chrome, IE, and Firefox browsers. When I go to use the register button on the core account page it says "SSO did not work as expected. Oops." on a blank white page.

Are you quite certain you clicked on "Register", and not "Link to Core"?

If so, please try it again, and if you get the same error, please View Source, and copy the result and paste it into a reply here (preferably inside [ code ] tags).

Thank you.

http://battlemaster.org/coreauth.php?action=login2&ticket_id=29164&ticket_hash=aa81dfbe21e1d818d6271905c053d948535006c5&ticket_check=7795f4419df52917f2b1daa90ec8827d562e6e57

Is what I get when I click register.

EDIT: Hopefully it comes up with the same page I get.

EDIT2: So I'm guessing there isn't any other way to make an account?

Anaris

No, I'm afraid that link is useless to anyone but you.

I need the copy & paste from View Source to be able to figure out what's going on.

And no, there is no other way to create an account.  Having accounts created through the Core solves a whole package of problems—when it's working.

And it's usually working...

My mistake, try this

<!-- load_from_return() -->
<!-- load_by_ticket(29164, aa81dfbe21e1d818d6271905c053d948535006c5, 7795f4419df52917f2b1daa90ec8827d562e6e57) -->
<!-- db_query(select * from tickets where id = 29164) -->
<!-- no such ticket --><!-- core knows you, now checking you into BM -->
<!-- no linked account continue as guest -->
SSO did not work as expected. Oops.

EDIT: For me it is rather late, did not read that right the first time.

Anaris

OK, you should see three buttons next to BattleMaster in your Core account: Login, Link to Core, and Register.

What you just pasted could only have occurred if you clicked Login.

Please click Register.

Err...wait.  That last might be completely wrong.

Please log out of the Core, then log back in.  If you still see the Register button, try clicking it again.

That did not work either :(

Jubashi

So now I have tried 3 different emails, Hotmail, MSN, and GMAIL. All three had the same problem on three different computers. My brother just made an account on his computer with a gmail email without any problems. His computer was the third I tried to use.

EDIT: this would be the second account.

Jubashi

Figured I would try stuff to help find the problem. These were different earlier and so maybe it will show whats wrong.

These are all on my computer (computer #1) on FireFox.

I have the exact same answer when I try to log in at BM by Core and if I click at the register button.
Can be that the first time he tried the account was created but not linked to core?
"Resolve to serve no more, and you are at once freed. I do not ask that you place hands upon the tyrant to topple him over, but simply that you support him no longer; then you will behold him, like a great Colossus whose pedestal has been pulled away, fall of his own weight and break in pieces."

Cline

I tried just logging in with what I assume would be the log in info, if it is the same as the core stuff, which did not work.

Tom

No, you can not simply enter the same info. Until the registration is done, the BM game does not know about you.

I'm still away, have been since wednesday. I'll be troubleshooting this when I come back.
