Does anyone know what the heck this thing is?

Admit nothing, deny everything, make counter-accusations.

Portal Opening.

Beware, the Daimon Invasion may start anytime soon. But this is EC, so the effects are varied.

Portal stones, specifically. What it actually ends up being is entirely random and determined ad-hoc by the GMs.

So don't worry about it. <.<

Ketchum

You may try open a Portal somewhere and then check the Map... just to be sure ;)

Portals seems to have drastically different effects here than Dwilight. The mere mention of Portal Stones on Dwilight is enough to see you hanged or deported lol.

If anything, I can barely find any monsters or undead with my adventurer on the East Continent... She is by far my most boring adventurer.

People will still execute you for using portal stones on EC. My character Josh is on the wanted list in Caligus for opening two portals in Domus XD

You can sell Portal Stones to fund your beer drinking contest, I mean buy many kegs of beer for drinking :P

Yes, East Continent appears lack of monsters or undead with my adventurer trying to hunt them. I have to pause my adventurer because he not making any headway. I do not know if code make them that way but Portal Stones appear to drop like mad rate ;)

I don't have a problem finding monsters/undead in the south, but we only have like one Wizard who roams the place. Makes getting scrolls or repairing magical items a pain.

DeVerci

I've been through about five regions with my advy now with no luck finding undead/monsters to kill in the south, makes it hard to manage fatigue when you can't get the gold to sleep it off. Maybe he'll have to wander north.

My advy actually finds sage after sage which can repair unique items, but I have yet to see a single wizard and since I don't have a unique, the sages are useless as they haven't offered to make a new one yet.
