Stepping Down from Duchy

Hey guys.

My character Yao Ling on Beluaterra has stepped down from her Duchy multiple times over the last week.  None of those times has had any effect.

The Daimons took the capital, the duchy has all but evaporated, and she simply wants to get back to playing the game like any other noble who can choose estates and other things.

She is trapped in a dead duchy.  I would like to fix that.

What does it say when you step down? A little more details please.

It says I stepped down and that's all.

No error message.

It doesn't lower my prestige and honor, though, and when I check I'm still the duchess of the Holy City.

The Duchy won't let you go...muhahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

Anyway, now that they know what is wrong, it shouldn't be a problem for much longer.

I'm really really sorry about the delay. I had some not-quite-emergency, but urgent, family matters come up, and then seemed to sleep an extended time. I need to repair the bootloader of the machine I use to access to live server, and then I'll get on fixing this right away.

It should now be fixed. :) Plus, I updated it so it correctly reflected the duke's gender when stepping down. :P
